About

Mikaela Stoner was born and raised in the small town of Sweet Home, Oregon where she learned to appreciate nature and developed a passion for culinary. Mikaela studied culinary at Linn Benton College, while cooking for a handful of restaurants in Corvallis, Oregon. After graduation Mikaela moved to Oakland, California where she explored and worked at many top food establishments in the Bay Area. Mikaela began working as a private chef in 2016 where she routinely showcased nutrient dense, plant forward dishes utilizing seasonal, and organic ingredients. In 2018, Mikaela assisted in the launch of a boutique meal delivery service with Elyse Bekins servicing the East Bay, where she worked as Chef de Cuisine until late 2020. While living in the Bay Area, Mikaela decided to continue her education at San Francisco State, where she earned a B.S. in Health Education and Holistic Health. Upon graduating Mikaela remained working in the Bay Area until late 2020 guiding her clients through the low FODMAP elimination diet process. At the start of 2021, Mikaela returned to Oregon, planting roots in the Portland metro area where she launched Kitchen Enrichments, an in home personal chef service, emphasizing the importance of making healthy food taste good.
